AdVance™ Male Sling System

How It Works.

Click to print textA small “sling” made of synthetic mesh is placed inside the body through three small incisions. The sling supports the urethra, the tube that transports urine from the bladder, through the penis and out of the body. Once implanted, the device works on its own, without manipulation, repositioning the urethra back into its normal anatomical position. This procedure can eliminate or reduce the possibility of urine leaking, even during strenuous activities such as lifting, exercising, sneezing and coughing.
